Trivia

  • With the rabbit character Goro in mind, Kodama was given the impression of him being acrobatic and running and jumping. A Kopinks! producer associated "rabbit" with "competition" or "sports", which eventually lead to the fable The Tortoise and the Hare (titled Usagi to Kame in Japanese). As the song has the lyric "kimi ga kaketekuru" (君が駆けてくる; you come running), "to come" was used in place of "to kame" (とカメ) in the song title as a call to the future. While Kodama was undecided on how the title was read and wasn't sure how to tell those who asked, "Usage to Kame" stuck as the pronunciation because Kopinks! staff all began reading it that way.[1]
